Q: What is Central Penn Sports Broadcasting
A: Central Penn Sports Broadcasting is a newly started website that brings live audio broadcasts of different high school sports within the Central Pennsylvania region, the most competitive regions in high school athletics.
A: To listen to any of our scheduled events or interviews, you will need to have Windows Media Player installed. If you don't have or your version is outdated , click
here to download it free. Currently Windows Media is supported by the following: Windows, Web TV, Palm Pc's and Macintosh OS. If you have another opearting system, you should contact your manufacturer for support. Central Penn Sports Broadcasting recomends version 6.4 or higher for Windows users and version 7.1 for Macintosh users.
A: From our Home page
www.centpasb.com, you need to click on the Schedule tab on the left hand side in the side bar. Any broadcast scheduled for that day will be highlighted in Blue. Click on the link you want to listen and you will be taken to that broadcast's particular info page. Visitors tuning in before the start of the broadcast will only be able to view the current broadcast's information. Once the game has started, you will see a link saying "Click here to listen". This opens a Windows Media Player window for and the broadcast will automatically start playing. (You may possibly want to refreash the page periodically for any possible updates).
A: All broadcasts that meet Central Penn Sports Broadcasting standards will be archived under the archive tab on the home page in the left side menu bar.
Q: My school is listed on the site, why are schedules for some sports missing? A: Central Penn Sports Broadcasting only lists schedules that are given to us by the schools or by a fan reply. If you would like to get a teams schedule listed on our site, email to
Centpasb.com. We would love to have every school's schedule in the Central Pennsylvania region listed on our site.
Q: Missing or incorrect scores? How do we let Central Penn Sports Broadcasting know? A: You can click on the contact tab on the home page in the left side menu bar to contact the support staff of Central Penn Sports Broadcasting. When contacted Centpasb will then make the correction. If you are at a game, you can also phone in a score, by calling 717-320-1161, 717-404-0528, or 717-404-0919.
